50 hours & counting down . . .

Jean & Cory are sitting at the airport as I type getting ready to board the red-eye flight to Houston for a 3.5 hour flight. At 3:30 am (PDX time) they will land and begin a 3.5 hour layover. Then they fly another 3.5 hours to Managua. (Are you picking up a pattern?)

[This was the meal La Costena provided in May . . .]

After another layover, they will fly 90 minutes to the NE corner of the country and should arrive around 3:00 pm (PDX time) on Thursday. Please take a moment to pray for their safety and wisdom.

Jean & Cory are being sent ahead to help pave the way for the remaining 30 of us who will be leaving on Friday. They are taking our strategic plan to determine what we will actually be able to do and to make the necessary modifications wherever possible.

At the same time, there are a group of Pastors scattered along the Rio Coco (Coconut River) who are making their final arrangements before traveling south to Puerto Cabezas. During their time with us, they will be unable to work for the day's wage to purchase food for their families nor tend their gardens. So please pray that God will provide for all their needs back home while simultaneously strengthening their faith.

Thanks for your continued prayers!
