from Lisa C

Yesterday I was part of a sewing duo - we made pillowcase dresses with 5 girls.  It was pretty awesome to see the girls working on their machines and figuring out the steps.  The lady that runs the sewing classes is very excited about the dresses!  She is hoping the girls will learn a vocation that will sustain them so this fit right into her program.

Today was the Pastor's Conf and wow wow wow.  I was in a small group with @ 4 spanish and 4 miskito people.  The leader asked for each group to have @3 people in group pray for the day.  Every single person in my group started praying loud and full of emotion.  Miskito sounds different from Spanish but the emotion in their prayers were identical.  It was convicting for me to see how boldly these people prayed - I am bashful in comparison.  I also got to welcome them and hand out name tags.  It was so fun to practice my awful spanish while they laughed and chuckled.  Even met a guy named Jesus which was pretty cool…

  1. Whether sewing dresses or praying boldly...you are loving the people of Nicaragua for Jesus. I'm praying for you, daily...
