from Spencer

Well, I am wiped for the day and it is only 12 pm. The weather is feels so nice when the wind blows and rain comes but with no wind or rain it is hot and muggy. It is kinda like someone spraying you with a mist when you step outside but you get used to the heat and mugginess. But so far here I have been stretched from the 10 second shower last night to being the goalie in soccer and getting hit by countless soccer balls, but this is what God wants me to be doing, serving. This is what I desire to do when God comes back. The people here are happy with their lives and laugh more than I do, they have joy, peace, patience, and all of the fruits of the spirit. I am rooming with Alex Merriman and Corry Hand, they are some cool Godly guys and it is fantastic to get to know them and their story, plus the cabin/room is actually surprisingly cool and comfortable at night. The people here are so kind and try understand you and your culture and try to make you feel comfortable. Looking forward later today I get to work with some of the orphans in a vacation Bible school with Will and Kenneth, I am excited to get to open my eyes and see how the orphans love the Lord and have so much faith. Thank you for reading and I hope your time back home is as good as mine.
