Well, it took a couple of days but it happened this morning. I cried. This morning we have started the Pastor Conference for spiritual leaders throughout Eastern Nicaragua. It’s nine thirty in the morning, and as I’m writing, Steve is teaching about the unity we have in Christ, in a dark room as the electricity is out again in Puerto Cabezas.
As the men gathered this morning, my heart burst for them. Some of these men traveled four days in dug out canoes to get here. Others traveled on top of a bus. Eighty-seven of them. As they signed in, many were embarrassed as they could not write their name on the name tags provided. These are the hands and feet of Jesus in Nicaragua, to bring the life and hope found only in Him.
I am humbled to be given an opportunity to pour myself into their life. I love the team God has put together from Rolling Hills for this week. I’m excited to serve and teach alongside Pastor Earl, Steve Catts, Jeff Valdes and Branden Campbell. I love these men and we are excited to extend the love of God with our new friends, family and fellow Pastors in Christ.
We covet your prayers. As we follow Jesus this week, we are going to storm the gates of hell together!

So good to see some pictures of you and mom up here... For a while I was wondering if you two ever made it :) It's been a blessing just reading the posts people have put together, but I think whenever this trip happens again I'm gonna have to come along :) love you guys and can't wait to hear all about the trip when we all get home! Praying for you all!
